WEconnect App Helps Navigate the Journey to Recovery
Seattle Times, July 5

Daniela Luzi Tudor knows what it’s like to try ending a drug and alcohol dependency on one’s own. So she launched a company that helps persons recovering from substance use disorders track their activities and easily reach out to sponsors or friends when they need help.

That’s important for WEconnect’s main customers, the counselors and mental-health professionals who work with people in recovery. The startup sells licenses to its app to treatment centers and clinics, which then have patients use them as part of treatment. The app sends data to counselors about how well the patients are completing their activities, so counselors can reach out if needed.

Residence XII, a drug and alcohol treatment center for women, is testing WEconnect with its patients.
