National Cannabis Summit

State and local governments, advocacy groups, medical professionals and consumers are vigorously engaged in conversations on the topic of legalized recreational and medical marijuana.  On August 28-30, 2017, the National Cannabis Summit will meet in Denver, Colorado to provide an objective national platform for all these stakeholders to discuss policies, advance research, enhance public health and safety and improve treatment.

The National Cannabis Summit will focus on six key topics:  the science of cannabis; emerging research and epidemiological data on the impact of legalization; public health and public safety; prevention; governance, federal law and emerging best policy practices and regulatory issues.  Workshops will offer insight into everything from cannabis use disorder among older adults and the impact of medical marijuana dispensaries to youth prevention and implications of legalized marijuana for drugged driving.

The National Cannabis Summit will provide the opportunity for attendees to hear successes and challenges firsthand from those who are on the front lines of change. Attendees will benefit from lessons-learned and walk away with a toolbox of emerging best practices.

Presented by Addiction Technology Transfer Center Network (ATTC), Advocates for Human Potential (AHP), and the The National Council for Behavioral Health.
