Teens Are Under the Influence... of You! Every Conversation Counts

Washington State Department of Health has supplied ADAI Clearinghouse with four marijuana prevention posters that remind parents of their influence on their teens' decisions.

These posters direct parents to the StartTalkingNow.org website for more information.

Message 1: Teens are less likely to use marijuana when adults are involved in their lives.

Message 2: Before you can teach teens about the world, you need to get the facts. The same goes for marijuana use.

Message 3: Teens make better decisions about marijuana if they know adults will help them out of uncomfortable situations.

Message 4: Whether it's cleaning their room or using marijuana, teens need to know their family's rules and consequences.

These posters can be ordered from the ADAI Clearinghouse.

Escape The Vape Campaign to Prevent Youth Vaping

Public Health - Seattle & King County has been working with partners and youth around the state on a new campaign help educate youth about what is in vaping liquids and vaping devices.

Escape the Vape (ETV) www.escapethevape.org is a new take on a public health campaign to prevent youth vaping - informed directly by teens around Washington state. The campaign includes Facebook and Instagram ads to drive traffic to EscapetheVape.org, however, and encourages you to share content via your own channels.

Download the Escape the Vape June Social Media Toolkit for Partners with links to ETV assets and suggested copy for Facebook posts and Tweets.
