About the ADAI Clearinghouse
The ADAI Clearinghouse is a resource center serving the residents of Washington state. We provide free materials from SAMHSA, NIDA, and NIAAA, as well as from other federal, state, and community agencies.
The Clearinghouse opened in September 2011 following the closure of the state-funded Washington State Alcohol/Drug Clearinghouse, which closed on June 30 due to state budget cuts. With space and funding contributed by the University of Washington Alcohol and Drug Abuse Institute and support from the Northwest High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA), the ADAI Clearinghouse is able to continue the services previously available from WSDAC.
Clearinghouse Coordinator Jennifer Velotta brings her experience managing the former clearinghouse to ADAI; she works in collaboration with ADAI's Library and Information Services staff to provide a continuum of resources and information services to Washington state residents.
